You won’t be alone in your search, a reputable Christian dating site will be there for you to support you and encourage you in your journey.Christian Date

Christian dating is much harder than for non believers as we understand the necessity in being equally yoked with our partner. Christians of all denomination’s are finding it hard to meet people through the church or socially, this is why fellow Christians have recognized the niche for Christian dating to made easier by developing specific websites just for you.

A Safe Way to Meet Your Match!

Christian dating through the internet is proving more and more popular as fellow Christians all over the world struggle to meet their match. For you first timers here are some guidelines to Christine dating through an online site that should be very helpful. Especially for ladies, do not reveal your personal information until you trust the guy you have been communicating with.

Through Christian dating sites you can remain anonymous until you feel ready. If any guy pressurizes you for your phone number or a date before you feel ready then he is not a godly guy as he should respect you enough to wait. As with normal Christian dating let the guy take the initiative into moving things forward to a phone call or meeting and see how you feel!

When you first sign up to any Christian dating website it’s a safe idea to use a temporary email address like Yahoo or hotmail and not to use your full name. Let down people gently as you would if you were in a normal Christian dating situation and respond with a thank you but I don’t think we match and god bless you type of message.

As with a lot of non Christian dating sites people post photographs, so be sure to select pictures that will not give the guy the wrong impression, be honest about who you are and send photo’s of you doing something you enjoy. These guys are fellow Christians together with you in Christ so they should be treated with respect.

For you guys thinking of Christian dating through the internet then remember these ladies are your sisters in Christianity there share your love of Christ so treat them with respect and kindness, use your self-control and be patient. No lady wants to be pushed or pressured into moving too fast into a date or telephone chat.

Think of how you would be violating our Lords standards, so if a lady says she is not interested then simply be polite and leave them alone. Finally, enjoy Christian dating through the internet and remember you are spreading your faith and meeting some amazing fellow Christians on your road to finding your soul mate.

Ephesians 3:20 (NIV)
“Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him is the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.”

The Way of St. James or St. James’ Way, often known by its Spanish name, el Camino de Santiago, is the pilgrimage to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia in northwestern Spain, where legend has it that the remains of the apostle, Saint James the Great, are buried.
The Way of St James has existed for over a thousand years. It was one of the most important Christian pilgrimages during medieval times. It was considered one of three pilgrimages on which a plenary indulgence could be earned;[citation needed] the others are the Via Francigena to Rome and the pilgrimage to Jerusalem.

Legend holds that St. James’s remains were carried by boat from Jerusalem to northern Spain where they were buried on the site of what is now the city of Santiago de Compostela. There are some, however, who claim that the bodily remains at Santiago belong to Priscillian, the fourth-century Galician leader of an ascetic Christian sect, Priscillianism, who was one of the first Christian heretics to be executed.

There is not a single route; the Way can take one of any number of pilgrimage routes to Santiago de Compostela. However a few of the routes are considered main ones. Santiago is such an important pilgrimage destination because it is considered the burial site of the apostle, James the Great. During the Middle Ages, the route was highly travelled. However, the Black Plague, the Protestant Reformation and political unrest in 16th- century Europe resulted in its decline. By the 1980s, only a few pilgrims arrived in Santiago annually. However, since then, the route has attracted a growing number of modern-day pilgrims from around the globe. The route was declared the first European Cultural Route by the Council of Europe in October 1987; it was also named one of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites in 1993.

Question by foofoobunny12: I’m sorry this is a singles/date question but I would like Christians to answer it. Thanks.
I met a guy who is homeschooled through his work. He’s about a year older then I am. We’ve had two intelligent conversations and I like him a lot. I really believe he likes me too. He has my e-mail address and explained to me he hasn’t e-mailed because his parents don’t aprove of emailing the opposite sex… We’re both Christians and for the two of us that’s huge. However, I have no set rules like that. I live with my brother.. I talk to my mom and see her each week and my dad disowned me. Anyway.. I just moved out of that town but go back all the time.. if he’s not allowed to email he probably can’t date… I need advice on how to handle this.. keep up with visiting.. see if we could do something in a group one day? I’ve been praying about it.. and I really like him. Any good advice would be great and appreciated. Thanks. btw.. He’ll be 17 and I’ll be 16 very soon. Thanks again. Oh yes.. and he has a job very close to where I just moved.
