How should a Christian go about finding that special Christian lady God has for him. ? Thanks for any helpful advice.

I became single almost a year ago. My fiance who was a Christian ended up being unfaithful. We met on a Christian holiday. Im a Christian girl aged 29. I’d say I was a loving, pretty and fun girl. However there seems to be a shortage of men in church and Ive joined various Christian dating sites with no success.

There are LOADS of single girls in all the churches I have been to. All seem lonely and disheartened and most seem resigned to the fact that they will end up single and alone. It’s horrible. I cry everytime I come back from church because I am surrounded by single girls and then young families. I feel such a pressure to find someone. I think its because I had planned my wedding and in my head I was going to be settled with a family. Now Im on my own again and most people my age in couples dont want to hang around with me. They are doing things with their partner.

Im starting to think I should date guys who are not Christians or face being single forever. The only problem is that I am still a virgin and dont want to have sex until Im married. How will I find a non Christian who will wait for me? Will they think Im a freak? Any advice would be really appreciated. I feel so crap right now xxx

People don’t go to church to find a partner, they go to find god. So stop looking for human love there

Go out like normal, dating is totally in your hands so if you don’t like a guy because he’s not Christian enough for you, or he won’t wait or whatever…just move on. If someone really loves you they’ll wait.

29 isn’t old at all, just look for guys outside church, Christians do go out too

Ok well first off i am a single mom who has already been divorced.. and now raising my 11 month old son.. i am christian, and was raised that way. i do believe it’s good to raise your children in your religon.. but i don’t want him to think any other religon is wrong, that’s for him to decide when he grows up.. ok so that’s a little about me.. now i am dating a guy who is mormon.. and he has no problem dating me, or kissing me, any of those things.. even eventually getting romantically involved. but my question is.. is this all ok, i mean if i ever got married to a mormon, i would never become mormon, and i wouldn’t raise my son that way. how would all of that work.. i have asked him about the way things work about marrying someone who isn’t mormon, and he told me, it doesn’t matter what the person is, mormon or not, if you love them, then people will except that you are both different. if we ever had kids. what religon would they be. i am not against his beliefs.
also, his family is really into there religon, and i am afraid that they arn’t going to except me for being christian. i have nothing against what they believe. i just want to make sure everything is going to be ok, if we were to get serious.. especially because i already have a child of my own, and if i ever get remarried i would love to have more children, and not sure how it would work if whoever i marry is a different religon then me.

Try to stick with the same religion or make him christian. These mormom people made up stories and its not worth fighting about it after marriage.

My boyfriend is Hindu and I am christian and I changed him and now he is christian and will get baptized before marriage. Thats love and I changed him coz I want him to be with me in heaven.

I never thought it would be so hard. Are there any real christian single women in my age range? (i’m 24) I’ve never had a problem meeting for finding women, but finding one who has real values and understands that i put Christ first in a relationship? seems impossible, any advice other than christian dating sites that cost money?
well, i’m not trying to judge anyone, its just that most women i date admit they aren’t realy spiritualy strong, they say they only go out with me for physical reasons. I do trust God to take care of me, and i thank you for that advice and for your prayers. I guess my real question is: why are there so few christian women in the world?
