Christian dating is much harder than for non believers as we understand the necessity in being equally yoked with our partner. Christians of all denomination’s are finding it hard to meet people through the church or socially, this is why fellow Christians have recognized the niche for Christian dating to made easier by developing specific websites just for you.

A Safe Way to Meet Your Match!

Christian dating through the internet is proving more and more popular as fellow Christians all over the world struggle to meet their match. For you first timers here are some guidelines to Christine dating through an online site that should be very helpful. Especially for ladies, do not reveal your personal information until you trust the guy you have been communicating with.

Through Christian dating sites you can remain anonymous until you feel ready. If any guy pressurizes you for your phone number or a date before you feel ready then he is not a godly guy as he should respect you enough to wait. As with normal Christian dating let the guy take the initiative into moving things forward to a phone call or meeting and see how you feel!

When you first sign up to any Christian dating website it’s a safe idea to use a temporary email address like Yahoo or hotmail and not to use your full name. Let down people gently as you would if you were in a normal Christian dating situation and respond with a thank you but I don’t think we match and god bless you type of message.

As with a lot of non Christian dating sites people post photographs, so be sure to select pictures that will not give the guy the wrong impression, be honest about who you are and send photo’s of you doing something you enjoy. These guys are fellow Christians together with you in Christ so they should be treated with respect.

For you guys thinking of Christian dating through the internet then remember these ladies are your sisters in Christianity there share your love of Christ so treat them with respect and kindness, use your self-control and be patient. No lady wants to be pushed or pressured into moving too fast into a date or telephone chat.

Think of how you would be violating our Lords standards, so if a lady says she is not interested then simply be polite and leave them alone. Finally, enjoy Christian dating through the internet and remember you are spreading your faith and meeting some amazing fellow Christians on your road to finding your soul mate.

Ephesians 3:20 (NIV)
“Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him is the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.”

Question by Andie: All the single Christian ladies…are you happy too?
We live in a relationship-minded society, in which singles are portrayed in movies as lonely TV-dinner-eating cat owners with longings for a special person to make them whole. Within churches especially, there seems to be a surge of singles groups and Christian dating services. Within this culture, there seems to be little room for the single 30-ish Christian woman who is actually happy with her life as it is. When people find out that I am 30 years old, not in a relationship (and not actively searching for one), and actually happy, I tend to get variations of the following reactions:

“You can’t really be happy. You must be in denial.”
“Oh, you’ll know what happiness is when you’re married, dear.”
“Single? Really? Why do you have relationship phobias?

I acknowledge the joy that can come with marriage, and I am happy for my friends who are happily married. But I wonder if I am really so rare. Surely there are other women out there who are not jaded by negative past relationships, but rather simply love their lives and do not feel the need to join a singles group to feel fulfilled. Well…are there?
